Bedard crossed the line first at eight minutes, 25.32 seconds with Legemet crossing just .15 of a second later. Both Bedard and Legemet set personal records on Friday.

"This should set us up well for the Oxy Distance Carnival this upcoming weekend," said Coach Adam Tribble, whose team is next in action at the Occidental Invitational March 9.
In the 1,500 meter, Mike Alukunyang had a strong performance in which he held second place through the first 1,100 meters. Alukunyang slipped to fourth following strong kicks by Shea Vavra (Cal State San Marcos) and Enrique Villa (RCC) in the final 400 meters.
