
2023 WAC All-Academic List is Released, 34 Lancers Honored

ARLINGTON--- The Western Athletic Conference released its 2023 Fall All-Academic honorees on Thursday afternoon, with 34 Lancer Athletes being honored on the list.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average, and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
CBU finished second among the WAC schools in total student-athletes named to the list (excluding football), trailing only Utah Valley and finishing just ahead of Grand Canyon, Seattle U, and Abilene Christian.
Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, and Women's Volleyball were the four fall programs eligible for the honor. Women's Soccer led the list for CBU with 12 athletes, followed by volleyball with nine players. CBU women's volleyball led all WAC schools with nine athletes named to the list and boasting a 3.621 cumulative GPA.
