AZUSA, Calif. ? Brenna Hahn continues to push her career high even higher as the year goes on and this time the freshman scored 24 points in an 84-69 loss to No. 7 Azusa Pacific.

The Lancers (15-11, 9-10) now have just one shot to get to the NAIA National Tournament in Jackson, Tenn., and that is to win the GSAC Tournament or face the regular season champion in the GSAC Tournament final.

Hahn was 6-for-12 from the floor and hit three treys in the process. She was also 9-for-12 at the line. CBU also got double figures from Jeanine Deno, who scored 14, and Erin Greenberg, who scored 11. Bryana Williams also had 10 rebounds.

California Baptist trailed by just six (29-23) with 2:03 left in the half, but the Cougars pushed it to a 38-27 lead at the half.

APU quickly got out to a 46-29 lead early in the second half, but the Lancers began to claw their way back into the contest. CBU used a 13-2 run capped by a Deno layup to close it to 48-42, but that was as close as the Lancers came.

CBU turned the ball over 17 times compared to APU's eight. The Lancers did out rebound the Cougars 41-33.

The Lancers struggled from the field going 20-of-54 and 9-of-28 from beyond the arc. CBU was also 20-for-29 at the charity stripe.

CBU will travel to Concordia, Monday, for the season finale at 5:30 p.m. before the GSAC Tournament kicks off, Wednesday.
