Charitable Donation Requests
Any individual seeking a donation from the California Baptist University Athletics Department must first complete and submit a Charitable Donation Request Form. The CBU Athletics Department will review the completed form and any additional documentation submitted. Requests must be completed in its entirety and submitted a minimum of four weeks prior to the requested deadline.
After verifying the information, the Athletics Department will either deny or recommend approval of the request based on whether or not it meets applicable NCAA legislation and institutional policies. Recommended requests will be forwarded to the appropriate department (i.e. Marketing, Sports Team, Equipment, etc.). Approval of a request does not guarantee that it can be fulfilled. The Athletics Department will notify the sender when a request has been denied and the reason for the denial.
Donation Request Guidelines
An individual, group, business, or organization is limited to one (1) charitable donation request per fiscal year. Donation requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Due to the volume of requests, the Athletics Department is unable to fulfill all requests. Requestors within the State of California will be given preference.
- Complimentary Tickets: CBU Athletics does donate tickets to sporting events based on availability
- Autographs: Due to the volume and frequency of requests, CBU Athletics cannot accept items to be autographed. If the Athletics Department is able to provide an autographed item, CBU will provide it. Any item received by the Athletics Department will be returned unsigned.
- Memorabilia: Items such as hats, t-shirts, jerseys, etc. depend on availability
- Equipment: Items such as helmets, balls, nets, etc. depend on availability
