BOSTON ? California Baptist pulled off its first upset of the year by taking down No. 19 Brown 15-14 in overtime at the MIT Invitational.

The 20th-ranked Lancers (5-2) saw a 10-7 fourth quarter lead disappear on four goals by the Bears. CBU was able to force overtime, but trailed late in the second over time period 14-13. With a minute left Chris Morgan tied the game at 14.

The Lancers then caught a break with 12 seconds left to play when Alan Ogden ripped a five-meter goal to the back of the net and the Lancer defense came up with one final stop to seal the game.

Morgan scored two goals on the night and added a trio of assists and also notched one steal. That was Ogden's only goal of the night. He also dished out a pair of assists. Freshman Brent Troutman led the Lancers in scoring with four goals while Aaron Steiger notched his fifth hat trick of the year in seven games.

Norbert Karoly also netted a pair of goals while Jason Bills, Jeff Woolstenhulme and Peter Hines scored solo goals.

California Baptist takes on a gauntlet of games Saturday as it plays Washington and Jefferson (Penn.) at 7 a.m., Connecticut College at 8:15 a.m. and Fordham at 1 p.m.
