Brandon Schuster headlined one of the biggest races of the day for the Lancers when he won the 400-yard individual medley. It was not only an UCSD pool record and an automatic time in the CSCAA.

Sakeri Holter nabbed second place, while Scott Tolman logged his first consideration time (4:05.05) in third place.

The Lancers relay team of Jacob Leahy, Tolman, Justin Quiroga and Jerome Heidrich also set a pool record in the 200-medley relay (1:30.53) but was just edged by UCSD's A relay (1:29.30) for the runner-up mark.

Schuster also two other top-three finishes and CSCAA B cuts in the 200 free (second, 1:41.11) and 500 free (third, 4:39.69).

Like the 400 IM, the Lancers swept first through third in the 200 butterfly and 1 and 3-meter dives. Garret Chew won both boards for the Lancers on Saturday, with 300.97 points on 3-meter and 265.13 on 1-meter.
