RIVERSIDE -- The Lancer women's basketball team will play two games in two different time zones this week before taking two weeks off from games for Christmas break. They will first travel to Pocatello, Idaho, on Monday the 16
th to face off with the Idaho State Bengals before hosting their final game of 2019 against the Aztecs of San Diego State in the CBU Events Center on Thursday the 19
th at 6:00 p.m.
The Lancers will be looking for their first win in program history against both of these teams, as the Bengals took last years contest in Riverside 72-57, and the Aztecs triumphed in San Diego 83-67.

The Bengals are sitting at 4-3 on the season, but have held strong at home, maintaining a perfect 3-0 record at Reed Gym. Idaho State has a history of defending home well, having a winning record at Reed Gym every year since 2009-10, including going 10-3 a season ago.
The Bengals boast three players averaging double-digit points this year, led by Callie Bourne who also leads the team in rebounding, as she puts up an average of 12.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
Most recently, the Bengals made the trip to Tempe, Arizona, to take on Arizona State, a game that saw ISU push the Sun Devils to overtime before ultimately being outscored 15-10 in the final frame.
The Tempe defeat was Idaho State's third loss of the year, but the three have all com at the hands of Power 5 opponents in Oklahoma State, Duke, and Arizona State.

The 4-7 Aztecs are still searching for their first road win of the season, dropping their first three away contests at Hawaii, UC Santa Barbara, and San Jose State.
SDSUÂ averages 59.8 points per game, with four players accounting for 80.1 percent of those points on average. Taylor Kalmer (13.3), Mallory Adams (12.8), Sophia Ramos (11.6), and Tea Adams (10.2) all score well, with M. Adams leading the team in rebounds (6.0 per game) as well.
The Aztecs currently sit tied for fifth with Air Force in the Mountain West after splitting their conference opening weekend, first beating Colorado State at home 59-48, then losing at San Jose State 67-84.
