RIVERSIDE -- California Baptist University hosted Seattle U on Saturday afternoon and the Redhawks took the win home with them, defeating the Lancers 83-49.
Tiena Afu was the lone Lancer in double figures with 10 points, all of which came during a five-minute burst to open the second quarter.
Ane Olaeta had a hand in just about everything, scoring nine points, grabbing nine boards, dishing out six assists, while also recording a steal and a block.
The Redhawks shot 50.7 percent (35-69) from the field for the game and held the Lancers to just 22.2 percent (16-72) on the day.
The loss drops the Lancers to 10-12 on the season and 2-6 in conference play heading into the second half of Western Athletic Conference play. Next up for the women are a pair of short road trips to CSU Bakersfield on Wednesday (11:00 a.m.) and Grand Canyon next Saturday (1:00 p.m.).
