2024-25
Primarily swam long distance freestyle and butterfly throughout the season
2023-24
Cody competed as a flyer and distance freestyle swimmer. Some of his notable swims include the 500 free (4:31.88), the 1650 (15:33.41), and the 100 fly (1:51.35). His 1650 free time was one of the fastest times ever (4th fastest) by a CBU swimmer in that event. By swimming his 1650 time at the WAC Championships, he placed 5th and also earned All WAC honors.
2022-23
Competed as a flyer swimming a season best 24.66 in the 50 and 1:57.05 season best in the 200
2020-21
Took ninth in the 1650 freestyle (15:48.56) 15th in the 200 butterfly (1:54.16) and the 500 freestyle (4:37.50) at the WAC Championships... Notched program top-10 times in the 1000 freestyle (seventh, 9:29.93) and the 1650 freestyle (fifth, 15:48.56)... Qualified for WAC All-Academic Team.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Palm Springs High School in Palm Springs, Calif., where he graduated in 2020... Twice named MVP and served as team captain... Named Scholastic All-American as a junior... Set 500 freestyle record as a sophomore... Swam club with Piranha Swim.
PERSONAL
Son of Todd and Kimberly Meyer... Has one sibling, Christian, who also swims at CBU... Undeclared major... Plans to work in the STEM field after graduation... Enjoys playing video games.
