Changes Made to Men’s Soccer's Upcoming Road Trip

RIVERSIDE --- The anticipated men's soccer rematch between California Baptist and West Virginia has been canceled, WVU Athletics confirmed on Friday. CBU was slated to play twice on a cross-country road trip, which will now be a single stop in Oklahoma.
West Virginia announced that their home facility, Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium, will be re-sodded, placing the Mountaineers in a position where they cannot host matches the week of CBU's visit. West Virginia will instead add an away match with Longwood University on their originally scheduled date to play CBU.
The Lancers have yet to announce any additions to the 2025 schedule. As it stands, CBU's road trip will be cut to one match, a visit to the University of Tulsa on September 16.
CBU will be home next week as future Big West foe Cal State Fullerton comes to Riverside. The Lancers are coming off a 3-2 loss in San Diego on Thursday, while the Titans sit at 1-1-2 following a loss in Corvallis on Thursday against Oregon State.
