RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A new addition to California Baptist University wrestling has the Lancers not only feeling hopeful but comfortable heading into 2015-16.
The wrestling team moved into a new facility just before the new season could begin. The complex is complete with a lobby, coaches' offices and team room.

"This facility will help us achieve our goal of winning a national championship in wrestling," Director of Athletics Dr. Micah Parker said. "These state-of-the-art additions separate us from most wrestling programs"
It is located next to the team's practice room and campus post office right off of Adams Avenue. The team room is fit with WiFi and conference table for team meetings. There are big-screen televisions to watch film on and an academic center/study room where the Lancers' nationally-recognized student-athletes can study.

Most of all, it gives the team a unique space where it can come together and bond before or after practice or competition.
"This is an amazing facility," Coach Lennie Zalesky said. "We are very fortunate to have a place like this for the wrestlers to come meet with us, study and watch films. We, the coaches, are also very grateful to work and operate in such a spacious and beautiful accommodation. We are looking forward to hosting recruits, fans, friends and people interested in CBU here."

CBU opens its season on Friday in a home dual with Embry-Riddle at 7:30 p.m. On Nov. 14th at noon, the program hosts "Take It Outside II," as it looks to build on its record attendance of 2,620 at an outdoor collegiate wrestling dual against Division-I Bakersfield at noon.
