Perry, Hackett Repeat as All-Academic

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – For the second year in a row, Lauren Hackett and Jenna Perry have distinguished themselves on the court and in the classroom after they were each voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 Team.
California Baptist University was the only team to have more than one honoree on the All-Academic District 8 Team. Hackett and Perry became the Lancers' first two CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 awardees last year and have now repeated that feat.
Hackett, a junior graphic design/digital media major, is a two-time All-PacWest and All-West Region player that was the 2014 Freshman of the Year in the PacWest, West Region and Division II. She ranks fifth in D-II in points per set (5.18), seventh in kills per set (4.49) and 28th in total kills (359).
Perry is a senior liberal studies major with a nearly flawless grade point average, who just so happens to be one of the most feared opposite hitters in all of Division II. The Laguna Hills native ranks 49th in points per set (4.32), 57th in kills per set (3.73), 65th in hitting percentage (.331).
