Austen Ramer
- Induction:
- 2019
- Class:
- 2012
Despite being a goalie, Austen Ramer managed to make his presence felt all over the pool in his four years with California Baptist University Men's Water Polo. The 2012 first-team All-American still ranks second in program history with 1,129 career saves and with 41 games with 10 or more saves. He anchored the best defenses in Lancer history from 2009 to 2012, as his teams held opponents to a season-low 229 goals in 2009 and to a season-low average of 6.63 goals a game in 2010.
Ramer wasn't content to just sit back and let the ball come to him, though, as he ranks first among all Lancer goalies with 412 steals and 152 assists. He ranks first and second in CBU's single-season history among keepers when it comes to assists and steals, as well. He had seven games with at least six steals, including a nine-steal performance.
