Fei Shi
- Induction:
- 2015
- Class:
- 2009
Fei Shi put up gaudy numbers her entire career at CBU, which led to her earning NAIA All-American and All-GSAC first-team awards all four years. Over that span, the Lancers went 121-28 overall and 63-17 in the GSAC. CBU not only made the playoffs from 2005-2009, but reached the semifinals on three occasions and finished runner-up in 2007, with Shi receiving NAIA All-Tournament distinction in three-straight years.
Her name is littered all over CBU's record book. She ranks third in career kills, with 1,822, as well as attempts with 4,285, and sets played with 482. Her 3.78 kills-per-set average ranks her fifth all time, along with her .328 attack percentage. More than just an offensive player, Shi's 1,160 digs are the sixth most all time and her 245 blocks are the 10th most in CBU history.
Even with all this success on the court, Shi's grades did not suffer and she picked up two NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards.
