Ingrid Carmona
- Induction:
- 2019
- Class:
- 2012
Ingrid Carmona was a four-time, first-team All-American and all-conference honoree with California Baptist University Women's Volleyball and made two national all-tournament teams. Just about every time the ball was set from 2008 to 2012, there was no secret it was going to her. She was still just about unstoppable from CBU women's volleyball and re-wrote the record book in her time as a Lancer.
The 2011 PacWest Newcomer of the Year ranks first in Lancer history with 1,890 kills and 4,728 attacks. Her 4.05 kills per set rank fifth, along with her 467 sets played. She also ranked eighth with 1,098 digs and 10th with 119 career aces.
CBU also enjoyed tremendous team success with Carmona on the court. The Lancers qualified for the national quarterfinals all four years, reaching the NAIA semifinals when she was a freshman in 2008 and winning the National Christian College Athletic Association title with her as a senior in 2012.
