Josh Hanson is one of the most highly decorated Lancer athletes in department history. Josh earned All-American status eight times at the Division II level and was a 16-time top-16 finisher at the Division II Championships, the most in program history. He was the RMAC Swimmer of the Year three-straight years while winning nine individual conference championships and adding to four more relay titles. His accolades weren't limited to the pool, as Hanson was twice the RMAC Academic Athlete of the Year, and once earned the RMAC Summit Award. Josh remains the program record holder in the 200 backstroke and the 200 individual medley, and is still ranked in the top-10 in eight other races.
