Matt Marnati may very well have been the most feared hitter to wear a California Baptist University Baseball uniform. He still holds program records with 237 games played, 867 at-bats, 285 career hits and 185 runs. He ranks second with 168 runs batted in, third with 56 stolen bases and fourth with 388 total bases.

The Yucaipa native earned three all-conference awards, including the 2012 PacWest Player of the Year award. He was also named a first-team pick in the West Region and as an All-American as a junior. The Lancers won four-straight conference championships and two NCCAA titles with Marnati in 2012-13.
