Shamsu Awudu

A national standout on the volleyball court, Shamsu Awudu helped lead California Baptist University men's volleyball to a 95-28 record and four NAIA Championships from 2004 to 2007, as he earned NAIA Championship MVP honors in 2005 and 2006. The prolific opposite hitter is still the program's all-time leader in kills and second in attempts with 1,502 and 2,816, respectively, in his career.
The native of Ghana posted a .377 attack percentage and averaged 4.27 kills a set in his career, which both rank sixth in Lancer history. Awudu also ranks fifth and sixth in career blocks (254) and service aces (121).
