CBU Softball went 154-35, 56-20 in the Golden State Athletic Conference in Tami Trujillo's three seasons. The Lancers also advanced to the NAIA National Championship and won their conference with the catcher in 2005 and 2006, with Trujillo being named the NAIA Region II and GSAC Player of the Year both seasons. She was a two-time NAIA All-American, being named to the second team as a junior and first team in her senior year.
Trujillo is still responsible for the program's best single-season batting average (.471) and on-base percentage (.538) set in 2006. Her career batting average of .441 and OBP of .495 rank second all time, while her .703 slugging percentage is third.
