CBU softball has a long history of great pitching and Tory Ferreira is among the best of the best in that category. Ferreira played for the Lancers for four years and remains in the top-five of most CBU pitching records. Ferreira boasted a career ERA of one-point-one-nine while allowing opposing hitters just a one-ninety-seven batting average. She was named the GSAC and NAIA Pitcher of the Year in 2009 as the ace led CBU to the NAIA softball national championship. Her success continued through the NCAA transition, earning First Team All-PacWest Honors in the Lancers' inaugural season at the Division II level.
