GAUCHOS RAID LANCERS FOR 11-5 WIN

The loss snaps the Lancers' 2-game winning streak and drops them to 15-12. The Gauchos improve to 10-12.
John Olds led California Baptist with a pair of goals.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the opening quarter. Lancer goalie Jon Miller collected all 5 of his saves in the first quarter.
The Gauchos took a quick 1-0 lead in the second quarter before Charlie Weaver scored his only goal of the match to tie the game at 1-1. The teams traded goals again before the Gauchos scored what proved to be the game-winner late in the quarter to take a 3-2 halftime lead.
In the third, the Lancers were unable to find the net as the Gauchos took control of the match with 3 goals to take a 6-2 lead. They out-scored the Lancers, 5-3, in the final quarter.
Mike Looy and Brandon Jung also scored a goal apiece. Andrew Romero collected one save.
