Early goals from 6 different Lancers helped California Baptist's “B” squad off to an 8-3 lead before Eric Qualls reached his personal halfway mark with his third goal of the game. An Alan Ogden goal made the score 9-5 at the half, and Lancers posted 4 unanswered goals within a span of just 2 minutes in the fourth quarter as they bettered the Wildcats by a score of 16-12.

Chris Knowles scored 2 of his game-high 5 goals in a 4-goal second quarter for Riverside CC, and the Tigers continued their run in the third quarter, out-scoring the Mounties by a 3-1 margin. Knowles again netted a pair of goals in the fourth quarter, as goalkeeper Jesse Owens was nearly perfect in the final period, allowing Alex Garcia his second goal of the game.
