After the Lancer guard hit a jumper with just 13 seconds left to tie the game and sent it to overtime, Concordia had tied up the game at 83-83 with just 21 seconds left.
The Lancers (12-7, 4-6) looked to be out of luck after Nicole Davis' attempt missed with 5 seconds left, but Bryana Williams came up with a board and found Greenberg to the right of the free-throw line, setting up the game-winning shot as time expired.
"I saw Bryana fighting for the rebound and I expected the ball since 3 girls were on her," said Greenberg, who scored 22 points on the night. "I knew if she could get ahold of the ball, it would be coming to me and so I wasn't surprised when it was passed my way. The shot felt good coming off my hands?for some reason, I was relaxed when I shot it."
Greenberg, whose jumper tied the game at 72-72 with 48 seconds left in regulation, scored her only 2 points of the overtime period at the buzzer. She finished with 4 3-pointers, while Williams grabbed a team-high 12 boards?none as crucial as the final rebound.
“Bryana fought hard for that rebound,” said California Baptist head coach Steve Sain. “She got her hands in there and struggled for it, and came through with the rebound. She grabbed it and had the presence of mind to kick it out to the open player. It was a huge play for us.”
