FRESNO, Calif. --- It looked as though Erin Greenberg's pair of free throws to put California Baptist up by 4 points with just under a minute left in overtime would be enough Saturday night.

But, Fresno Pacific's Brooke Stanley scored 5 points in the final minute of the game to give the Sunbirds (16-8, 6-8) a 94-93 win in overtime. The Lancers also held a 6-point lead with under 3 minutes to play in the overtime period, but fall to 13-9, 5-8 with the loss.

Stanley, who finished with 13 points, grabbed an offensive board just after Greenberg's pair of conversions from the charity stripe and buried a jumper that put the Sunbirds within 2, at 93-91 with just over 20 seconds remaining in the game.

The Fresno Pacific guard was handed another opportunity from the Lancers, when California Baptist missed a late 3-pointer to give the Sunbirds a chance to call a timeout and draw up the game-winning play, which went beyond the arc to Stanley, who buried a trey to give Fresno Pacific the 94-93 win.

Greenberg, who ended with 15 points on the evening, had nailed a 3-pointer to give CBU an 88-82 lead with 2:50 remaining in the overtime period, as the Lancer started bonus time on an 8-2 run that was also fueled by a 3-pointer from Jessica Fisiikava. The Sunbirds came back from the deficit, however, with a 7-0 rally of their own, as Kari Cox scored 5 of her 13 points in the run.

After Cox' 3-point play put Fresno Pacific in the lead, at 89-88, Nicole Davis, who ended with a game-high 31 points, nailed a trey to temporarily give the Lancers the advantage with 1:30 to play.

Trailing by 11 points, at 64-53, midway into the second half, Davis hit a jumper that initiated a 10-0 rally, featuring 8 Davis points, to bring the score to 64-63. Davis's 3-pointer put the Lancers in the lead at 77-76, and she hit a jumper to close out regulation with a tied score of 80-80.

Brandie McCann scored 14 points and dealt out 8 assist, while Fisiikava ended with 9 points on a trio of 3-pointers.
