Competing with three divers, the women took first place with a score of 99 over Redlands and Chapman, who finished with 76 and 61 points, respectively.
As the only representative for the CBU men's team, Graifman earned 40 points for the Lancers, trailing Redlands who had two divers competing and scored 66 points.
"Overall, I think we did a wonderful job," Diving Coach Jeff Couto said. "Good competition, we're definitely moving in the right direction."
On the 3M board, Flynn achieved a score of 249.90, with Miranda King finishing at runner-up with 178.85. Flynn received her highest score on the 3M on her final dive of the day, with a back 1.5 somersault, 1.5 back twists free dive with a starting value of 2.4. King also finished second on the 1M and Sonata Dalimot finished sixth in the 1M and seventh in the 3M.
"Jamie [Flynn] has had a back injury and yet she came out here without practice, just lineups, and performed basic dives but really visualized them and allowered her mental game to be tough," Couto said. "With that, she took first place and that is incredible.
In the men's competition, Graifman finished over one hundred points higher than the runner-up in both the 3M and 1M. On the 3M board, Graifman finished with a total score of 266.95 and a 304.55 on the 1M. On his final dive of the day, Graifman, on the 1M board, scored a 24.0 on a back 1.5 somersault, 1.5 twists free dive.
"Trevor Graifman always comes out very strong. He did phenomenal, especially for the beginning of the season," Couto said. "It was his first meet doing all optional dives, the harder dives."
CBU diving has a two-week break before returning to the boards on Nov. 5 against Redlands and Cal State East Bay.
