RIVERSIDE, Calif. — California Baptist University claimed Saturday's dual with Pomona-Pitzer, beating out the Seahagens 154-134.Â
Josh Hanson helped the Lancers grab four first-place finishes, including the men's 200-yard medley (1:34.88)—with the help of
Nikolay Klepikov,
Andrew Denton and
Chaffin Blake—200-yard freestyle (1.42.99), 200-yard backstroke (1:52.66) and 100-yard butterfly, clocking in at 50.27 seconds.
Klepikov took two first-place finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke (56.99 seconds) and the 200-yard breaststroke with a final time of 2.06.41.

CBU took three other events, including
Elijah Barrows with the men's 1000-yard freestyle, touching first in 9:52.61.
Robert Griffith took first-place in the men's 500-yard freestyle, clocking in with a final time of 4:44.93. While

Luke Schuler, Austin Aberle and Robert Griffith teamed up to claim the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:13.23.

On the diving board, freshman
Zach Mullins finished first on the one-meter board with a score of 247.42, while
Kendall Rummell had a strong second-place finish, scoring 247.20.

The duo switch on the three-meter board. Rummell won the three-meter board with 250.50 points, while Mullins finished in second with 247.80 points.

The Lancers will compete again on Nov. 20 at the East LA College Arena Invite in Los Angeles, Calif.Â
