SAN DIEGO, Calif. --- Â After last week's meet being cancelled in Fresno, California Baptist University faced UC San Diego on Saturday. The lady Lancers won seven events but were edged by the Tritons, 167-133, despite
Lauren Skinner sweeping the one and three-meter diving boards.

Mary Hanson produced three first-place performances for the Lancers, including the 100-yard backstroke, clocking in at 57.15 seconds and the 200-yard back (2:03.69) in individual swims. She teamed with
Alena Rumiantceva,
Kyndal Terwilliger and
Robin Smallwood to win the 400-yard medley relay for the Lancers in 3:50.42.

Terwilliger and Rumiantceva also took home individual wins. Terwilliger took home the 200 fly with a time of 2:05.19, while Rumiantceva came in at 2:18.29 in the 200 breast.

On the diving board, Skinner won the one-meter with 256.28 points and the three-meter with 231.38 points. Coming in second-place for both events was
Breanne Schlenger, finishing with 241.20 points on the one-meter and 216.38 points on the three.

The Lancers have one last meet, heading to Biola for a quad meet against the Eagles of Biola and Concordia and Fresno Pacific on Jan. 31, before the RMAC Championships, which are hosted in Colorado Spring, Colo. from Feb. 11 to 14.
