Riverside, Calif. — California Baptist University has just two more games in the regular season before postseason action begins at the PacWest Tournament. The Lancers head north to Fresno Pacific for a 5:30 p.m. Thursday tipoff before returning home to host Notre Dame de Namur on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Two seniors, Chanel Cambronero and Elyse Snyder, will be honored Saturday.
CBU already has a spot in the conference tournament, held March 5-7 at Concordia University of Irvine, but needs to win one of its next two games to secure the No. 2 seed in the tournament and grab a first round bye.
Head-to-Head
Thursday marks the first time this season the Lancers and Sunbirds will square off. The two teams have a long history of playing each other, but FPU holds a 20-game advantage, sitting 43-23 in the all-time series.
Against the Argonauts, CBU has never lost a game since the series first started in 1983 and holds a staggering 12-0 record. Earlier this season the Lancers defeated NDNU 82-62.
