Somogyi Grabs PacWest Runner of the Week Honor

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – After leading seventh-ranked California Baptist University at the SF State Invitational over the weekend, Anett Somogyi was named the PacWest Runner of the Week Tuesday.
CBU showed great depth with four of the Lancers' fastest runners finishing in the top five to win the 6K. Somogyi – who is the defending PacWest Champion – took first overall, crossing the finish line with a time of 21 minutes, 11.5 seconds.
The Lancers split up for the first time this season, with half the team heading to Chicago for the Lewis University Conference Cross Over, while others head to UC San Diego on Oct. 7.
