Lowe Named WAC Diver of the Week

RIVERSIDE – Kiree Lowe earned her first Western Athletic Conference Diver of the Week award on Tuesday after the first week of diving competition for California Baptist University.

Lowe, a sophomore, posted two top-three finishes at the Lancer Diving Invite, which was hosted by CBU at the Lancer Aquatics Center on Saturday. California Baptist earned four WAC Diver of the Week awards last season.

The Clovis native finished runner-up on the 3-meter board with a score of 249.40 points, which was a personal best and is good for fourth in the conference so far. Lowe then took third on the 1-meter board (230.65) to finish ahead of seven other divers.

For the first time this season, CBU's whole team will be together when it makes its dual and home opener against UNLV on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Lancer Aquatics Center.
