Croy Announces Additions to MBB Program

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - California Baptist University head men's basketball coach Rick Croy announced on Thursday that Wani Swaka Lo Buluk and Carson Towt signed scholarship agreements to join the Lancer program.
"Wani and Carson are wonderful young men, and I am thrilled about the opportunity to coach each of them," Coach Croy said. "Both of them have enjoyed tremendous success up to this point in their young careers, and they are going to benefit our program and the CBU student body immensely."

- Member of the U19 Australian Emus team that will compete in the 2019 FIBA Under-19 World Cup this summer
- Averaged 9 ppg for the Australian Crocs. The team finished sixth at the 2017 FIBA Under-17 World Cup
- Averaged 14.9 ppg for the Australian Crocs en route to winning gold at the 2018 FIBA Under-16 Asian Championship
- Participated in the NBA Global Academy in Canberra, Australia
- Born in Sudan before arriving in Australia when he was four-years-old
- Named 2019 5A Conference Player of the Year by the Arizona Interscholastic Association
- Selected by The Republic as an All-Arizona honorable mention
- 2018-19 Stats at Gilbert High School: 10.7 ppg, 11.2 rpg, 3.0 apg, 1.2 bpg, 51.7% FG
- Gilbert HS won the 2019 5A state championship, its first title since 2003
- Gilbert posted a 29-1 record in 2018-19 with the only loss coming against Pinnacle High, the back-to-back 6A state champion in Arizona
