Chick-fil-A Central Ave. & Riverside Plaza Provided 300 Meals
California Baptist University head men's basketball coach Rick Croy visited the Riverside Medical Clinic Brockton/Riverside location to serve lunch to frontline healthcare workers on Wednesday.
Chick-fil-A Central Ave. & Riverside Plaza, a sponsor of CBU Athletics, donated 300 meals along with gift cards to be distributed by Coach Croy. Riverside Medical Clinic also has a long-standing sports marketing partnership with CBU. Today, these three local partners came together to support each other and the Riverside community.
"We are, today, partnering with CBU to feed the frontline workers at Riverside Medical Clinic," said Chick-fil-A Central Ave. & Riverside Plaza owner and operator Justin Beard. "We are giving around 300 meals to their staff there. It's a way that we can partner with another organization that is in Riverside. That we can say thank you to the staff over there for the effort that they put in during this whole crisis. It's a way that we can give back. It's a way that CBU can give back. We have such a good relationship. Our values are very similar as organizations and we love to partner with CBU."

"It's great to be out here today. I think we have all missed engaging with our community, but more than anything just gaining a tremendous sense of appreciation for what these frontline workers do every single day giving us all the confidence to open back up safely. We appreciate you and we love our community."Rick Croy, CBU head men's basketball coach
"It's all about people. Today has been great to be out and about and seeing smiles. People saying thank you, and us having a chance to say thank you to them." - @CoachCroy #LanceUp?? | @CBSLA pic.twitter.com/2112ZGpdcC
