RIVERSIDE -- California Baptist University's men and women's swim and dive teams earned Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as announced by the organization. In total, the CSCAA honored 801 teams from 461 institutions across all divisions of competition.
The CBU women's squad earned their eighth straight Scholar All-America team award while the Lancer men made the list for a fifth consecutive time. In order to qualify for the award, each team must achieve a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. Due to the unique nature of this year's academic session, the CSCAA has opted not to publish individual team GPAs as they have in the past.
California Baptist University is one of just four WAC teams to earn the honor for their men and women's squads, joined by Grand Canyon, Seattle, and CSU Bakersfield, who is now a member of the Big Sky Conference as of July 1, 2020.
