Lancer Volleyball Splits WAC Road Trip

Nacogdoches, Texas – Coming off an impressive 3-1 win at UT Arlington on Thursday, California Baptist University volleyball completed its two-game Western Athletic Conference road trip with a 3-0 loss at Stephen F. Austin on Saturday afternoon.
Christine Graf and Michalina Rola led CBU with eight kills each. Paige Johnstone and Leah Pease had 12 and 11 digs, respectively. Pease also contributed a team-high 24 assists.
CBU drops to 7-9 overall and 2-3 in WAC play while SFA now stands at 17-2 overall and 5-1 in league competition.
The Lancers will host Abilene Christian on Thursday at 7 p.m. The match will take place at the CBU Events Center in what has become an annual one-off tradition on the home schedule from the traditional Van Dyne Gym location where CBU usually competes. In previous seasons, the home matches at the CBU Events Center have proven to be the best crowds of the season with attendance ranging from 1,500-3,400 since 2018.
