WAC Announces 2022-23 Men's Basketball Conference Schedule

RIVERSIDE --- The Western Athletic Conference released the 2022-23 men's basketball schedule on Wednesday.
California Baptist University will play an 18-game conference schedule with an even split between home games inside the CBU Events Center and on the road. The 2022-23 CBU men's basketball schedule is now complete.

The Lancers open conference play on the road as they face Grand Canyon in Phoenix on Dec. 29 before making their way up to Seattle to take on Seattle U on Dec. 31.
CBU will host the conference's home opener against Utah Tech (formally known as Dixie State) on Jan. 5. A quick road trip to Las Cruces, N.M., will take place on Jan. 7, as the Lancers take on the reigning WAC Champs NM State.
Following the game against the Aggies, the Lancers will host their longest WAC homestand of the season with three-straight home games. The Lancers will host Utah Valley on Jan. 11, then follow that up with their first repeat matchup against Grand Canyon on Jan. 14, and ending the homestand with a game against Tarleton State on Jan. 21.
CBU then heads to Texas to close out the month of January with games against WAC newcomer UT Arlington on Jan. 25 and UT Rio Grande Valley on Jan. 28.
The month of February opens with back-to-back home games against WAC newcomer Southern Utah on Feb. 1 and Abilene Christian on Feb. 4. The Lancers will have a midweek road trip to Orem, Utah, to face Utah Valley for the second time on Feb. 8.
The Lancers will welcome NM State on Feb. 11 and Seattle U on Feb. 15 for the final back-to-back home swing of the season.
CBU ends the month with a trip to Texas to face Sam Houston on Feb. 23 and Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 26. The Lancers close out the conference schedule with their final home game against UTRGV on March 1, and then travel to Cedar City, Utah, to take on Southern Utah on March 3.

The 2023 WAC Basketball Championships are set to return to Las Vegas on March 6-11.
