California Baptist University announces change in volleyball leadership, launches nationwide search for next head coach

Riverside, Calif. — California Baptist University (CBU) announced today the departure of Branden Higa as the head women's volleyball coach.
"I want to thank Branden for his contributions to the women's volleyball team over the course of his 12-year tenure as head coach," said Dr. Micah Parker, vice president for Athletics. "We wish him the very best on his next endeavor."
While this shift in leadership signals a change in direction for the program, CBU remains committed to performing competitively in the sport and developing Purpose Driven Champions. A national search will begin immediately.
