Women’s Swim & Dive Continues Season in Colorado

GREELEY, CO. --- Women's Swim & Dive traveled to the Rocky Mountains this week for a dual meet with Northern Colorado. The single-day competition was another tough test for the Lancers, as UNC secured the team victory by a score of 212.0–88.0.
The meet consisted of 16 events, with only women's swim & dive being in action. The men's side returns to competition next week.
Audrey Easter had the highlight for the CBU dive team, as she grabbed first place in three-meter diving with a score of 439.18. Jade Fontenelle placed third, followed by Audrey Thordarson-Wehner (fourth) and Bella Reynolds (sixth).
Reynolds grabbed the victory in one-meter diving, posting a score of 254.4. Easter placed second, followed by Fontenelle, who grabbed third to create an all-CBU podium.
Several Lancers posted new season-best times during Saturday's meet:
In the 200-yard freestyle, Kai Flanagan posted 1:54.46. Iyanah Samayoa posted 2:24.58 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Liberty Edwards set a season-best in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.05. Nicole Reynolds posted a time of 58.88 for a season-best in the 100-yard backstroke.

The CBU dive team will be back in action in two weeks for the Trojan Diving Invite, hosted by USC. The men's swim team will travel to Utah for the Utah Tech Invite, beginning on November 20. The women's team will resume their season in December for the UNLV Winter Meet in Las Vegas.
