The pace quickened dramatically in the third period as both offenses went from struggling to on fire in the blink of an eye. The Tritons' success from the perimeter was the difference, as they connected on five of their seven shots to outscore CBU 30-22 in the period. CBU started off the fourth period with a 7-0 run to try and flip the momentum in its favor, but the Tritons would keep the Lancers at bay, not allowing the lead to come under five points. CBU made a few more pushes against the Tritons but ultimately succumbed to a 67-59 loss.
