7/23/2025 1:00:00 PM

RIVERSIDE--- The Western Athletic Conference released its full 2025-26 men's basketball schedule on Wednesday afternoon, featuring an 18-game conference slate that will begin action on December 29.

The schedule has every team playing each other three times for a total of 18 games. Given the new conference format, the Lancers will have home, home, and away matchups with Utah Tech, Abilene Christian, and Tarleton while facing away, away, and home matchups with UTA, Southern Utah, and Utah Valley.

The Lancers will open up conference play on a three-game road trip beginning on December 29 in Orem, Utah, to face the Utah Valley Wolverines and will make pit stops in Arlington and Stephenville to take on UT Arlington and Tarleton on January 1 and 3. CBU will have its first home conference games on January 8 and 10 as they host Utah Tech and Southern Utah in the Dale E. & Sarah Ann Fowler Events Center. The Lancers will have another three-game road trip in the middle of their conference slate as they head to the Beehive State to face Utah Tech, Southern Utah, and Utah Valley in mid-February. The three-game road trip will be followed up with a trio of home games as they host the Texas schools of ACU, UTA, and Tarleton. CBU will finish up on the road at Southern Utah before setting its eyes on competing in WACVegas from March 11-14 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Lancers finished 9-7 in conference play a year ago and nabbed the #3 seed in the conference tournament, their best finish since 2019 and their best conference tournament seeding since becoming eligible in 2020-21.
