8/28/2025 9:00:00 AM

RIVERSIDE --- The 2025-26 season for CBU Swimming & Diving is right around the corner, as the Lancers will begin a new era as competing members of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF). The season will see 13 competitions before the Lancers look to make an impact in the MPSF and NCAA postseason.

With the changing landscape of the WAC, CBU Swimming & Diving joined the MPSF for the 2025-26 season. It will be a one-year stop for the program, as Swim & Dive will join their fellow CBU programs with the transition to the Big West Conference in 2026.

The 2025-26 schedule begins with the MPSF Open Water 5K at Marine Stadium in Long Beach on October 18. The Lancers will then visit Pomona-Pitzer for a single-day meet on October 25.

CBU will host their first meet of the season on October 31 and November 1 as UC Santa Barbara, Denver, and San Diego State make their way to Riverside. Three other home meets will pop up on the schedule. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps will be in town on January 9. Grand Canyon will come to Riverside on January 17, and UC San Diego will round out the home schedule on January 24.

Away from Riverside, the women's side will travel to Northern Colorado on November 8. The full swim team will then head to the Utah Tech Invite, stretching from November 20-22. Those same dates will see the dive team head into Los Angeles for the Trojan Diving Invite, hosted by USC. Winter continues with the UNLV Winter Invite, December 15-17, and then 2025 wraps up with the RCC Dive Invite on December 20.

After CMS's visit to Riverside to open the New Year, the Lancers' dive team will compete in the UCLA Diving Invite from January 9-11. The regular season concludes with the Air Force Academy Dive Invite, January 29-31.

The MPSF Conference Championship, held in Pharr, TX, will take place February 25-28. That will be followed by the NCAA Diving Zone E Qualifier, March 9-11, in Flagstaff, AZ. The CSCAA National Invitational Championships will take place from March 11-14 in Ocala, FL. The NCAA championships will be in Atlanta, with the women's championship running from March 18-21, and the men's from March 25-28.
