
CBU Ends the Winter Season in the Top 100 of the Learfield Directors' Cup Standings

RIVERSIDE --- California Baptist University sits sixth in the Learfield Directors' Cup standings for all Division I-AAA programs. The Lancers enter the spring season ranked at No. 99 in the national standings for all Division I institutions.
Division I-AAA comprises all Division I universities that do not sponsor football.
CBU remains sixth out of Division I-AAA programs with 124.00 points. Ahead of the Lancers are St. John's (222.0), High Point (214.50), Vermont (150.00), Denver (135.00), and Saint Louis (133.00).
California Baptist has experienced success across the board this year, winning seven conference championships through the winter season: Men's Cross Country, Women's Cross Country, Men's Soccer (regular season), Women's Soccer (tournament), Men's Basketball (tournament), and Women's Basketball (regular season and tournament).
During the fall, CBU experienced additional postseason success with Men's Water Polo reaching the WCC Championship Match. The winter season added more aquatic highlights with swimming & diving sending three student-athletes to the NCAA Swimming & Diving National Championship in Atlanta, GA.
CBU is second among WAC universities, trailing only Tarleton State (162.50). Tarleton State is an FCS institution, offering football.
