Lennie Zalesky Head Wrestling Coach Phone: 951-343-4824 Email: lzalesky@calbaptist.edu In eight seasons, Lennie Zalesky has led CBU to a 64-47-1 overall record and four top-three national finishes. He has coached his wrestlers to a total of 30 All-American awards and seven individual national championships, including three at the NCAA level. Zalesky came to Riverside after nine years as the head coach at NCAA Division I UC Davis. He was a three-time NCAA All-American and a former assistant coach at powerhouse Iowa. Complete Biography |

Derek Moore Derek Moore, a former NCAA Division I champion and California Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee, joined California Baptist University Wrestling's coaching staff in May 2017. Moore spent the previous four seasons as an assistant coach at Division I Sacred Heart University. As a wrestler at UC Davis, Moore became the first Aggie in any sport to win an individual NCAA championship at the 2007 D-I Championships. The former 141-pounder won two Pac-10 championships at his weight class in 2006 and 2007. Moore was voted the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the NCAA Championships in 2007 after he went 5-0 in the tournament and upset top-seeded Ryan Lang of Northwestern with a 17-2 technical fall. Moore was also named the Pac-10 Wrestler of the Year and UC Davis Male Athlete of the Year in 2007. |

AJ Juarez Athletic Trainer Phone: 951-343-4816 Email: ajuarez@calbaptist.edu AJ Juarez first joined the California Baptist University Athletic Training staff in the fall of 2015 and rejoined the Lancers in September 2019. He is the primary athletic trainer for the Lancers' wrestling and men's and women's golf teams. He earned his bachelor's degree from Cal State San Marcos with a major in kinesiology and emphasis in public health, and then went on to get his master's degree in athletic training at CBU, graduating 2015. Kameron Rios Wrestling Student Manager Kameron Rios is a current CBU student, graduating in 2021 with a degree in psychology. He plans to go for his doctoral degree and join the U.S. Air Force. He wrestled at Chino Hills High where he was the Wrestler of the Year as a junior and senior, took sixth at CIF, captained the squad, won the Coaches' Award, had the most pins, and was a Scholar-Athlete, student teacher and coach. |
