Shane Sinon joined California Baptist basketball in April 2026 as an inaugural member of Kyle Getter’s coaching staff. In his role, Sinon will serve as the Director of Operations for the Lancers.
“Shane has a tremendous work ethic and has an incredible attention to detail,” said Getter. “His experiences working at Liberty, ORU, and Texas A&M will lead to him having a huge impact on our staff and our student athletes. We are excited to welcome Shane to the CBU community.”
Sinon comes to the Lancers after spending the previous two seasons with Texas A&M in College Station, TX. With the Aggies, Sinon was the Assistant Director of Operations. His role saw Sinon handle all manner of tasks relating to head coach Buzz Williams’s daily schedule and calendar, including film projects, practice and travel preparation and team inventory.
Before joining the Aggies, Sinon spent the 2023-24 season with Oral Roberts University. Sinon led player development workouts, assisted with film, recruiting, analytics and opponent scouting reports for the Golden Eagles.
Sinon is a native of Poughkeepsie, NY, and earned his bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Liberty University in 2022. While at Libert, Sinon was a manager for the basketball team all four years, including two years as the head manager.
