Clocked top-10 season times for CBU in the 50, 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyles... Set personal records in the 50 (24.83) and 500 frees (4:58.51)... Finished 15th at the UNLV Invite in the 1650 free (17:47.95)... Named to the WAC All-Academic Team.
2018-19
Added depth to CBU's distance freestyle events as a true freshman... Finished 16th in the 200 free (1:55.30) and 500 free (5:15.11) at the PCSC Pentathlon... Took 18th in the 500 free (5:13.94) and 21st in the 200 free (1:56.99) at the Malibu Invite... Named Academic All-WAC.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Woodcrest Christian High in Riverside, Calif., where he graduated in 2018... Swam at CIF Championships all four years... Broke the school's 500-yard freestyle record seven times and the 200 free four times... Voted Royals' Team MVP three times... Served as team captain as a junior and senior... Swam club for Riverside Aquatics Association.

Born and raised in Riverside, Calif... Son of Michael and Monica Scarano... Has one sibling, Myles, who ran cross country and track at Alabama Huntsville... Sister-in-law ran cross country and track at Wartburg College and CBU... Enjoys going to the movies, beach and doing random things with friends... Lists Ecclesiastes 3:9-15 as his favorite Bible passage... Majoring in industrial and systems engineering, with a minor in business administration... Plans to become a pilot in the Navy or work logistics for government contracted organizations.
