Ethan Angle is the Assistant Director of Event Productions at California Baptist University, where he has been a dedicated member of the production team for over eight years. Since accepting his current role in Fall 2023, he has played an integral part in the planning and execution of major campus events, including chapel services, commencement, academic ceremonies, and a wide range of external productions held both inside and outside the CBU Events Center.
With over 10 years of experience in live event production, Ethan specializes in front of house audio but is also proficient in lighting and video systems. His technical expertise allows him to manage, operate, and troubleshoot nearly every aspect of the university’s production equipment, ensuring high-quality experiences across all events.
In addition to his work at CBU, he serves as the Assistant Production Manager at Immanuel Baptist Church and continues to work as a freelance audio engineer, focusing on live event mixing and studio production. His diverse background includes front of house audio mixing for touring bands, musical theater, broadcast audio, and corporate events.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Baptist University in 2021. In his free time, he enjoys attending live concerts, performing with local bands, visiting the beach, and continually developing his skills in both live and studio audio production.
