Haylei Archer joined the California Baptist University softball program as the pitching coach ahead of the 2025-26 season. A former Division I standout and professional athlete, Archer brings a dynamic blend of high-level playing experience, academic achievement, and coaching expertise to the Lancers' staff.
Archer played collegiate softball at the University of California, Berkeley from 2020 to 2024. She earned All-Pac-12 Third Team honors and was named to the NFCA All-Pacific Region Third Team, helping the Bears maintain a Top-25 national ranking throughout the season.
Previously, she joined the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) softball program as a graduate assistant coach. There, she worked closely with the pitching staff and supported the full coaching team in player development and game planning.
Archer graduated from Cal with a bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Health and Wellness. While at Ole Miss, she continued her education and earned her Master's of Public Health
