Kevin Castillo joined the California Baptist University Softball Staff in June of 2025 as the Assistant Softball Coach
Kevin was previously an assistant Coach at Long Beach State University. While there as a pitching and hitting coach, he had 8 All Conference Pitchers, 12 Pitchers of the Week, 18 All Conference Players, and 24 Players of the Week. He was a defensive coach and assisted in recruiting for all positions. Castillo was also the head coach of Valley Christian High School Softball, where he taught valuable skills of the game.
Kevin's playing experience includes the Men's ISF Team in 2009, 2012, and 2015. The Pan American Team in 2015 and in 2019 winning a silver medal. Along with being in the ISC All-World Tournament team from 2013-2019
