Michael McBride joined CBU baseball as the Director of Baseball Operations in 2026, bringing extensive experience in collegiate baseball, player development and program operations.
Prior to CBU, Michael served as the lead pitching coach at Futures Training Center, where he developed individualized plans for collegiate and professional pitchers using technologies such as TrackMan, ArmCare and Edgertronic. He previously spent time with Long Beach State baseball as the Director of Player Relations/Bullpen Coach and Team Manager, working closely with players, coaches and MLB scouts while overseeing baseball technology and daily operations.
A former high school coach and baseball instructor, Michael also brings experience in player development, recruiting, community outreach and program leadership. He also served seven years in the U.S. Army as a medic from 2015-2022.
Michael received his bachelor's degree from Long Beach State.
