Rachel Keys came to California Baptist University in July of 2005. She transferred to the athletics department in May 2013 as the athletic academic counselor and senior woman administrator. She was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Student Support prior to CBU's move to NCAA Division I.

Keys is responsible for providing academic advisement and support in order to promote academic success for all student-athletes at CBU.

Keys earned her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from CBU in 2005. She completed her masters in management and leadership from Liberty University in 2014. Keys and her husband, Scott, have four children.
