Rey joined California Baptist University in March 2024 as an Associate Athletic Trainer, where he oversees the Wrestling, Stunt, and Men's Golf programs.
He received his education from California State University at Fullerton, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Rey then received his Master of Science in Athletic Training from California Baptist University.
Before CBU, Rey was the Head Athletic Trainer at Marymount University, where he oversaw all 11 of their athletic programs. He then became the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Vanguard University, overseeing Men's and Women's Wrestling along with Baseball.
